By accessing and using AmIRich ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AmIRich is a personal finance tracking application that allows users to:

• Track assets and liabilities
• Monitor net worth over time
• Set and track financial goals
• Track cryptocurrency and stock portfolio values in real-time
• Compare net worth to age-based percentiles
• Export personal financial data
• Access additional features through Pro membership (optional paid subscription)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must not share your account credentials with others

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent, illegal, or abusive behavior.

4. Pro Membership Subscription

4.1 Subscription Plans

Pro membership is an optional paid subscription that provides access to enhanced features. Subscription plans and pricing are displayed within the application and may be updated periodically.

4.2 Billing and Payment

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected
• Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice to active subscribers

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page
• Upon cancellation, you will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period
• No refunds or credits will be issued for partial months or years
• We reserve the right to revoke Pro membership for Terms violations

4.4 Pro Features

Pro membership features are subject to change. We may add, modify, or remove Pro features at our discretion. While we strive to maintain and enhance Pro features, we do not guarantee any specific feature will remain available indefinitely.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate financial information
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the Service
• Not use the Service to transmit malicious code or viruses
• Not create multiple accounts to abuse the Service
• Not scrape or harvest data from the Service

6. Financial Information Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: AmIRich is a personal finance tracking tool only. It is NOT:

• Financial advice or investment guidance
• A substitute for professional financial planning
• A guarantee of investment performance
• A regulated financial institution

All financial data, percentile calculations, and market prices are provided "as is" for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any financial data.

7. Third-Party Data

Cryptocurrency and stock price data is fetched from third-party APIs (CCXT and Yahoo Finance). We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of this data. Market prices may be delayed or inaccurate.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AmIRich and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your personal financial data. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store and process your data to provide the Service.

9. Data Backup and Loss

While we implement backup procedures, we are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or destruction. We strongly recommend you regularly export your data using the Data Export feature.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE"
• We make no warranties, expressed or implied
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for financial decisions made based on data from the Service
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AmIRich harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

13. Privacy

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
